Community Management

Community Management is therefore the best way to start a conversation which not only creates a community around a brand, product or service, but also brings traffic to the company website.

In particular, Community Management also builds ‘brand equity’ via social networks and the web in its broadest sense.

The purpose of this training is to identify mechanisms to improve community management. All you need to know to launch a Community Management venture will be revealed: the establishment of a content-monitoring system, understanding Facebook’s Edge Rank, building a community, and marketing analytics and ROE (Return On Engagement) tools,

Prior completion of the three half-day courses introducing network concepts is recommended to build a solid foundation for this training in Community Management. 

Training in Community Management includes:

  • Enabling a Facebook page and a Twitter account (if not already initiated)
  • Building an online Community
  • Building a dialogue and engaging fans
  • Brand buzz
  • Community monitoring
  • Content monitoring (tracking topical content for pages and accounts)
  • Statistics & Analysis

The programme comprises two half-days arranged as follows:

Part 1 – 1st half-day (COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT BASIC)

  • Content monitoring (tracking topical content for pages and accounts)
  • Building an online Community
    • Building a dialogue and engaging fans. Traffic acquisition: developing and managing the community
    • Identifying influencers and ambassadors via Klout
    • Know how to moderate: good and bad examples
  • Enabling a Facebook page and a Twitter account (if not already initiated)
    • Set up content monitoring
    • Choosing the right sources
    • Finding your brand’s unique semantic universe
    • Create a Facebook page and add administrators

Part 2 – 2nd half-day (COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT ADVANCED)

  • Understanding Facebook
    • Virality and organic growth
    • Facebook Pub
    • The Edge Rank
    • The most valuable and engaging types of posts
    • Advanced Settings: targeting by country, language, gender, region etc..
  • Create a Twitter profile
    • Create a brand profile
    • Twitter Communication codes
    • Create an official Twitter page
    • Acquire followers
